Gardaí undertaking 'high-visibility campaign on trains this evening

Gardaí are undertaking a 'high-visibility campaign on trains this evening to tackle anti-social behaviour.

Patrols will continue until 11 o'clock tonight at eight inter-city routes across the country.

While local Gardaí will have a crime prevention advice stand in Sligo.

Superintendent Barry Doyle, from the Garda Community Engagement Bureau says 'annoyance' and 'theft' are among the most common incidents reported.
