Gardai in Donegal have set up an incident room to investigate what they have described as a 'clinical gang' operating in the county.
Gardai believe the gang were involved in a series of break-ins to commercial premises in a number of areas in the county including Laghey, Killygordon, Letterkenny, Dungloe and Newtowncunningham.
There were six robberies in November and another in December and Gardai warn that this gang is still operating in the county.
Products including wine and cigarettes as well as cash have been taken.
Crime Prevention Officer Paul Wallace has confirmed to Ocean FM News that all of the properties targetted were carefully monitored before the break-ins:
