Gerry Adams says Sinn Fein is a party in transition.
Speaking to Ocean FM News at the retirement event of former SF Councillor Sean McManus in Sligo this evening, Mr. Adams alluded to his own retirement.
Local politicians from Sligo and members of the Sinn Fein party in this region attended the do in the Great Southern Hotel tonight.
While not stating when, he says a new leader is very much part of the ten-year transitional plan of the party.

He says this plan is being worked on currently in consultation with the grassroots members:
