Gilroy calls for works at Milk Harbour in north Sligo

There is concern that, what has been described as, one of the most idyllic spots tucked away in the north Sligo coast may be at risk of pollution from old boats.

Local Fianna Fail Councillor Donal Gilroy has called for the council to explore funding opportunities to renovate and carry out works at Milk Harbour, at Carns, Mount Temple.

He says it's an area of growing popularity, including for parents and children.
