Fire services from Donegal Town, Stranorlar and Ballyshannon attended gorse fires which broke out at the townland of Tawnawilly, close to Lough Eske last night at around 10pm.
It took the team approximately four hours to neutralise the blaze.
Fire services in County Donegal responded to a total of 19 gorse fires in the county over the recent Bank Holiday weekend.
There is a high risk of gorse fires this time of year, due to both the dry weather conditions and the lack of undergrowth.
