The Taoiseach has stressed that housing Ukrainians in hotels has not affected the social housing market.

 

The issue was raised in the Dail by Independent TD Thomas Pringle who asked further questions as to why Ukrainian refugees can be housed in Donegal so easily but Mica homeowners can't.

A significant number of homeowners affected by Mica are stuck in limbo within the Mica Redress Scheme because they can't find alternative accommodation to live in while their houses are being fixed.

 

Meanwhile, Donegal has one of the highest number of Ukrainian refugees being housed nationwide.

Speaking in the Dail the Taoiseach there is no link to refugees and the current state of the housing market:
