There are two government Ministers in the region today.
Minister for Rural Affairs Michael Ring is in Rossinver to open a new centre which will be a hub for a range of activities including for the unemployed and those dealing with addiction.
Meanwhile the Minister of State at the Department of Housing and Planning Damien English was in Sligo earlier at a public event on marine planning in the IT.
There he launched a new report which is effectively the Ireland 2040 plan for the marine sector.
