Greater clarity needed on who is most at risk from Covid

A Sligo Leitrim TD is calling on The National Public Health Emergency Team and the Government to be specific about who is currently most at risk from Covid 19.

It comes after the Tanaiste suggested yesterday that we would see a phased lifting of restrictions between February and the end of this year.

Sligo Leitrim Deputy Marc MacSharry says Ireland has taken the 'scenic route' to mask wearing and antigen testing, and he doesn't want to see the same approach taken to the reopening of society.
