Green Party says it's the farmers' friend

A Green Party general election candidate says the election manifesto of her party has been met with a positive response by farmers and those involved in the north west's agri sector.

Sligo/Leitrim candidate Blaithin Gallagher, who comes from a farming background in County Leitrim, says a lot of the measures being proposed by the Green Party will benefit farmers as well as the environment.
