Growing interest in Lleyn sheep breeding; Roscommon sale on Sept. 5th

The Lleyn Sheep Society's annual sale at Roscommon Mart will take place this year on September 5th.

It's been a difficult year for these specialised sheep farmers as agricultural shows have had to be cancelled because of the Covid pandemic.

There has been a steady increase in the number of Lleyn sheep farmers in the Counties of Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal as the promotions officer with the Lleyn Society of Ireland, Ian Breslin, has been telling our reporter John Lynch.
