Investigations are taking place after a 21 year old woman was killed after being struck by a Garda patrol car in Donegal.
The incident took place in Ludden, Buncrana, at around 3.15am this morning.
The body has now been removed from the scene to a morgue where a post-mortem will take place. The road remains closed for technical and forensic examinations. Local diversions are currently in place.
The collision has been referred to the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) for investigation.
