Motorists are being urged to take care on the roads throughout the day due to snow and ice.
Met Eireann have issued two status yellow warnings for snow and ice for the entire country today.
There's frosty and icy conditions across the north west and wintry falls are expected to spread nationwide by this evening.
The warning comes into effect from 6pm this evening and remains until 12pm Sunday.
