Hazelwood has fully reopened after certain paths were closed by Coillte to clear invasive species.
Over €200,000 has been invested this year for a range of biodiversity works that have been taking place since the summer.
Operations Manager for the project is Karen Woods.
She says dozens of hectares of invasive species have now been cleared allowing native species to hopefully thrive.
