HIQA report into Donegal disability centres to be raised in Dail

A South Donegal TD has expressed doubt over the HSE plans to address shortcomings in a number of disability centres in Donegal.

Last week, a HIQA report revealed concerns relating to governance and oversight at the centres.

The HSE has compiled a plan to address the issues raised while HIQA is to continue inspections for the rest of the year and has also pledged to monitor if the plan is being implemented.

Deputy Thomas Pringle says he intends to raise the matter in the Dail this week:
