The former convent of Mercy residence in Ballymote in county Sligo is up for sale.
The Earlsfield Convent Residence at Carrowcauly is a two storey basement property on 9 acres of land.
There is currently one nun still living there.
There is currently an offer of €205,000 on the property.

David Diffley of Earley's auctioneers in Roscommon town says they have sold similar properties in Ballyhaunis and Ballaghadereen which have been successfully converted into B and Bs.
