Historic meeting of Sligo-Drumcliff MD will take place in Ballintogher

The first ever meeting of a Municipal District of the local Authority in Sligo will take place in Ballintogher later this morning.

The Monthly meeting of the Sligo-Drumcliff MD is scheduled to take place in the Ballintogher Community Hub.

This will also be the first Sligo Drumcliffe meeting to every take place outside the chamber.

Local Councillor Thomas Walsh says Monday's meeting it will be an historic event.
