Home Help hours - top of new Dail agenda

Fine Gael have claimed the provision of adequate home help hours must be placed at the top of the political agenda in the next Dail.

That's according to local general election candidate, Senator Frank Feighan.

Fine Gael will have already committed to funding 1 million additional hours this year, as part of Budget 2020, and have pledged to deliver an additional 1 million for every year that they remain in office.

Speaking to OceanFM news Senator Feighan says the demand for these hours has long outstripped supply and everything must be done to address waiting lists and delayed discharges from hospital.
