Hopes long awaited Enniscrone project will be finished ahead of tourism season

There are hopes that a long awaited project for the heart of Enniscrone will be carried out ahead of the tourism season next year.

Funding had been granted back in 2020 for works at The Square in the village but so far the project hasn't progressed.

The project is currently out for tender and includes various upgrade works and safety measures.

Cllr Joe Queenan believes that when completed it will enhance the entire area:
