Ballymote Primary Care Centre has been handed over to the HSE.
The HSE has confirmed to Ocean FM that the process of transitioning services to HSE is currently underway.
It is expected that the Primary Care Centre will be officially opened by the end of February.
Local Fianna Fail Councillor Keith Henry hopes there will be no more delays to the opening date:
