Hundreds of homes in county Sligo are without water following a burst pipe in the Carraroe area.
The burst mains, which happened on Thursday afternoon, is affecting several localities.
These include: Belladrehid, Ballisodare, Collooney, Ballintogher, Ballygawley, Breeogue, Carrowkeel, Kilmacowen, Ransboro, Abbeytown, Knoxpark, Corhownagh, Steamstown, Lugawarry, Coney, Kilross, Rathrippon, Grange East, Grange West and Rathcarrick.
Sligo County Council is advising consumers that they will experience loss of supply or reduced pressure while repairs are carried out.

The indications are it could be Friday morning before full supply is restored.
