Hundreds of homes and are currently without power in the Grange area.
Power is expected to be restored to all areas shortly in the Aghagad area.
It comes as a status yellow wind warning is in place for county Sligo today.
Met Éireann warning of the potential for downed trees, power outages and disruption.
