Over twelve hundred homes in North Donegal are without power this morning following the storm.
The ESB says 1224 homes in the Buncrana area are without electricity as well as 173 homes in Gweedore in North west Donegal.
The ESB says it hopes to have power restored later this morning.
Nationwide there are more than 24,000 people without power but the ESB says that's down from over 170,000 yesterday and crews are going out when it's safe to do so.
