IFA to collaborate with Gardaí to ensure safety and security in rural areas

The National Chairperson of the IFA's Farm Family and Social Affairs Committee says the association is working with An Garda Síochána to ensure community Gardaí meet with local people in rural areas to ensure safety and security ahead of the winter months.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Alice Doyle says despite the fact most Garda Stations are centralised, it is important that rural communities have a Garda presence:
