The Irish Farmers Association will host a public meeting on Monday, January 23rd at the Raddison Blu Hotel in Athlone at 8pm.
The meeting takes place at a critical time for the sheep sector, with the continual drop in lamb prices and rising feeding costs placing huge pressure on farmers.
At the meeting, Teagasc will give an update on the latest evaluated costs of production for sheep farmers, while Bord Bia and Irish Country Meats will deliver a lamb market outlook.
