Strandhill, on the Sligo coastline, was in the midst of Storm Eleanor's wrath.
Earlier today, Niall Walton of Voya Seaweed Baths in the seaside village, spoke to Harry Keaney of Ocean FM News.
Mr Walton told how the storm has affected his business.

Meanwhile, to get away from the rain, cold and wind, some people were taking refuge in a warm Shell's Cafe, where Davina Brennan is superviser.

However, while most people were trying to avoid the storm, photographer Humphrey Twomey from Wicklow was relishing the turbulent conditions in Strandhill.
