The number of those waiting for a bed at north west hospitals has risen once again.
Sligo University Hospital was the third most overcrowded hospital country today according to figures published by the INMO.
The latest trolley watch figures are reporting that there were 37 people waiting on a bed at the facility this morning, 24 of whom were in the emergency department.
Elsewhere in the north west, 29 patients were reported waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital, with 11 in the emergency department.
University Hospital Limerick continues to be the most overcrowded hospital nationally with 101.
In total there were 592 people waiting on hospital beds today.
