There are four and half times more people receiving treatment for Covid-19 in Sligo University Hospital today compared to the start of the month.
There were four patients with the virus in Sligo on the 1st of October while today there are 18.
16 further patients are receiving treatment in Letterkenny University Hospital today; the figure has not dropped below 10 since the beginning of the month.
A total of 587 patients have received treatment in both hospitals so far this month; 346 in Letterkenny and 241 in Sligo.
