INMO figures show today's trolley count is down by 22% year on year

There are 37 people on hospital trolleys across the North West today.

Letterkenny University Hospital has 34 while at University Hospital Sligo there are three patients currently on trolleys.

The hospitals with the highest numbers today are University Hospital Limerick - 63
Cork University Hospital - 44 and University Hospital Galway - 37.

But today's overall figures are in fact down by 22% compared to the same day last year according to this daily tally from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
