Insurance costs rise for Irish farmers

Almost three-quarters of farmers say their insurance costs have gone up this year.

That's despite an increase in providers of farm insurance in the Irish market.

A survey conducted by the Irish Farmers Journal reveals three in ten people have swapped insurance provider in the last three years.

Eoin Lowry is the Agri Business Editor for the paper - he says insurance market changes haven't brought down costs.
