An investigation is continuing into an alleged assault in County Roscommon.
It happened at around 2.45pm on Monday in Ballaghaderreen.

A man in his 70s was allegedly assaulted during the course of this incident and did not require immediate medical treatment.
Gardai say that enquiries are ongoing and are appealing for witnesses.

Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the Brusna area of Ballaghaderreen at the time, are asked to make this available to Gardaí.
