Investigation continuing into attempted Leitrim carjacking

Gardaí in Leitrim have renewed their appeal for witnesses following an attempted carjacking in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The incident took place at a filling station on the Boyle Road area shortly before 6 a.m on Friday, November 29th.

It's believed that a gang of men rammed one car at the filling station and chased the driver of a second car before fleeing on foot.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
