An investigation is continuing into the discovery of a body in Carrick-On-Shannon.
Gardaí along with local emergency services, responded after the body of a man in his late 50s was discovered yesterday afternoon on lands at Liscara.
His body was transferred to the mortuary at Sligo University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The local Coroner has been informed, and the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
Gardai say that foul play is not suspected at this stage.
