An investigation is continuing into the discovery of a large scale fishing net in Killybegs.
Officers from Inland Fisheries Ireland were on patrol in the area in recent days when they discovered the net hidden in a hedge near Stragar River.
The IFI seized the net, a move which they say will prevent harm to aquatic life.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
