Investigation continuing into discovery of woman's body in north Leitrim

An investigation is continuing into the discovery of a woman's body in north Leitrim.

The woman's body was found at a house in Kinlough on Monday evening last.

Gardai have confirmed that a post mortem has been carried out.

They also say that following consultation with the State Pathologist, an inquest file is being prepared for the coroner.

There are no further details at this stage.
