An investigation is continuing into the discovery of a woman's body in Sligo this week.
The woman who was in her 50s was discovered at a residence in the town shortly after 8:30pm on Monday evening last.

In a statement this afternoon, Gardai have said that they are continuing to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding her death.
They say that the outcome of ongoing post-mortem and forensic & technical examinations will determine the course of the investigation.
