Investigation continuing into hit and run in Glenties

An investigation is continuing into a hit and run incident in Glenties.

It happened on Sunday September 11th at around 3pm over the period when the Glenties Harvest Fair was taking place.

The offending vehicle collided with a fast food van and failed to stop.

Speaking on the On the Beat Slot on Oceanfm this morning, Sgt Aoife Hayes says there were people working in the fast food van at the time and that Gardai are keen to progress the investigation:
