Investigation continuing into Killybegs assault

A man is recovering from injuries sustained in a weekend assault in Killybegs.

It happened in the early hours of Saturday 23rd.

The man is believed to have been attacked by another man on Main Street at some stage between 3.15am and 3.40am.

It's understood that the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dash cam footage of the area at the time is asked to contact Gardai in Ballyshannon.
