A vacant farmhouse has been ransacked in Donegal Town.
The incident happened in the townland of Drumenagh.
Gardai believe that the break-in happened at some stage between 12 noon on Monday 24th June and Monday July 1st.
Entry was gained to the property via a downstairs window with a number of items stolen, including a bronze ornament a number of bottles of alcohol.
Outhouses were also entered and ransacked.
An investigation has been launched with Gardai appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at that time to make contact with them.
