An investigation has been launched after two beehives were stolen in Co Roscommon.
They were taken from a property at Deerpark in Boyle, overnight on Tuesday, 20 February and Wednesday 21 February last.

Each beehive is believed weigh around 30kgs and were home to native Irish Black Bees, according to the Roscommon Herald.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them at Boyle Garda Station.
