Investigation launched following Arranmore tragedy

An investigation is underway into the death of a young RNLI volunteer on Arranmore Island off County Donegal.

26 year old Leigh Early got trapped underwater when his car slipped off a pier into the sea yesterday morning.

A passenger managed to get out of the car and swim ashore to raise the alarm.

Local Donegal deputy, Pat the Cope Gallagher says the whole community is in shock.
