Gardaí in Sligo are continuing investigations this morning following a serious road traffic collision on Pearse Road yesterday evening.
It’s understood that a cyclist was involved in the incident.

Pearse Road remains closed this morning from Cemetery road to Crozon
Diversions are in place, traffic travelling into Sligo Town will be diverted onto Cemetery Road from Pearse Road.

Gardai are looking to hear from anybody that travelled out of Sligo Town on the Pearse Road last night between 11.30pm and 12am last night.
They are asked to contact Sligo Garda Station 071 91 57000.
