Investigation launched into overnight house fire in Sligo

An investigation has been launched into an overnight house fire in Sligo.

The blaze broke out at a vacant property at Rathbraughan Park in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services attended the scene with firefighters eventually bringing the blaze under control some time later.

It's understood that there were no injuries.

Gardai say that investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire - anyone with information is being urged to contact them at Sligo Garda Station.
