An investigation is continuing into an alleged child approach incident in Dromahair.
It happened close to a local school when the child was walking home yesterday.

It's alleged that the incident involved a man attempting to engage with the child, asking them to get into their car and when the child refused, the vehicle drove off.
In a statement, Gardaí say that they received a report of alleged suspicious activity in the village yesterday afternoon and that enquiries are ongoing.

CCTV is being reviewed in the area - anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the alleged incident is being urged to contact Gardai.
