Investigation underway into alleged aggravated burglary in Twin Towns

An investigation is underway into an alleged aggravated burglary that happened at a residence in the Twin Towns last night.

Two males at the residence were assaulted during the course of the burglary.

Another two males, both in their 20s, were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Letterkenny Garda Station.

Gardai say that investigations are ongoing.
