Gardaí are continuing their investigations into the theft of lead strips which were removed from the roof of a building at Sligo Racecourse.
Thieves removed the strips from the roof of the Gate Lodge close to the entrance to the racecourse.
The building had undergone extensive renovation work in recent years.
It's a further hit to the racecourse, following the forced cancellations of meetings recently due to inclement weather conditions.
