Investment and intervention needed to save post offices

A Sligo Leitrim TD has given her support in the Dáil to a proposal brought forward by the group of Regional TD's to sustain the post offices network.

Independent TD Marian says that Postmasters facing a significant drop in their income.

Speaking on the matter in the Dáil Deputy Harkin says government investment and intervention is required.

She outlined how the government will have invest over 17 million per annum into the post office network otherwise many post offices will go the wall.
