Ireland West Airport is open and operational this morning, but they have urged all passengers to check with their airlines directly on specific flight information.
There was heavy snowfall on the runway overnight and the region is currently under a status orange low temperature and ice weather warning.
The airport's snow and ice teams worked on clearing the runway and taxiways in the early hours of this morning ahead of the day's first arrivals.
They have also asked that all travelling to the airport this morning should allow for plenty of time as roads into the airport are extremely icy.
