Ireland West passengers advised to check for updates following Storm Bert

Passengers flying into and out of Ireland West Airport across the weekend are being advised to check for updates with their airline.

Flights to and from Ireland West Airport are operating as normal on Saturday following overnight wind and rain from Storm Bert.

There had been fears that significant delays or even cancellations would impact the airport, however all services are running as scheduled.

Disruptions have been reported at other airports across Ireland, the UK and Europe with some knock-on delays inevitable as several airlines have aircraft out of position.
