The Irish Heart Foundation is rolling out a Mobile Health Unit across part of Leitrim this week.
Today, Tuesday, Oct 29th, a mobile unit is offering free heart health checks in Manorhamilton until 4 pm.
Nurses are offering a free blood pressure check, a pulse check, heart health information and lifestyle advice to people attending this one day event as 80% of premature heart disease and stroke is preventable.
