Irish Rail is under fire after last night's 19.05 Connolly-Sligo service was over two hours late arriving into Sligo.
Irish Rail says a mechanical fault was to blame and has apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Passengers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to vent their frustration.
Some customers were unhappy over the lack of detail provided by Irish Rail for the delay.
